Experience

Yianis Sarafidis, Principal, is a member of CRA’s Competition Practice. He has provided economic consulting services in the context of antitrust litigation and merger cases. He has been particularly valuable in cases that required his expertise in modeling (i.e., game theory, bargaining, and merger simulations) and econometrics.

Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Sarafidis was an assistant professor of economics, at INSEAD (2001–2005) and at Yale University (visiting, 2005–2006). He has taught courses in microeconomics, game theory, and industrial organization at the undergraduate, graduate, and MBA levels. His research spans a variety of topics in microeconomic theory, industrial organization, and behavioral economics, and his work has been published in reputable academic journals.
