B.A. Economics, Carleton College Experience Mike Thomas helps clients respond to the challenges arising from industry restructuring, market development, new regulatory regimes and changing government policy. These challenges tremendously affect shareholder and society-wide value and require robust, well-considered and timely responses. He brings a unique perspective to problem solving, having worked for twenty years on corporate strategy development, energy market design and implementation, commercial valuation and regulatory issues throughout the Asia Pacific region, as well as in North America. In addition he has testified or prepared economic evidence in matters ranging from transmission investment disputes to new generation development proposal evaluation to how to structure fees intended to recover the costs of market institutions.
