The Internship Experience at CRA’s London Office

Having just completed my Masters in Economics, I was keen to explore the nexus between economic theory and reality - to understand how, and to what extent, I would use the rigorous theory I had studied to help solve a real world antitrust question. I was also certain that I wanted to work in an environment that would motivate me to go outside of my comfort zone while simultaneously offering me the opportunity to familiarise myself with the essential empirical tools. What I learned as a CRA Analyst Intern

My internship at CRA was 10 weeks long and went by much faster than I expected. Looking back, I’m startled by how much I’ve managed to learn in such a short time. I’ve become confident in my ability to write code in Stata and produce immaculate charts and tables in Excel. I even had the opportunity to learn about mapping in ArcGIS, which has been one of my goals for a few years. The fast-paced project work, thorough training, and Tech Lab allowed me to hone various skills in a very short time. Read more >
