Internship

Ten weeks in London

My name is Lucy Thompson, and I interned in the Life Sciences Practice in CRA’s London office for ten weeks. I just completed my second year at the University of Cambridge studying Biological Natural Sciences. In October I will be starting my final year, specialising in Pharmacology. I live south of London in Kent (about an hour commute), and outside of work I am a keen runner, netball player and horse rider, and enjoy travelling and spending time in the countryside. Read more >

Life as an intern in Cambridge, UK – part 2

Learning and Professional Development
As a student, many of my friends are currently interns in a variety of professions and companies. Outside of uni and work, I’m keen on running and swimming to keep fit. Read more >

Reflecting on our Boston summer

This year, CRA welcomed a class of over 40 interns who were spread across our offices from San Francisco to Brussels. While at CRA, interns are fully absorbed into life at CRA, and their experiences mirror that of our consulting staff. Interns have an opportunity to work on projects alongside their teams, attend all-staff meetings and intern-specific programs, and enjoy office social events. Take a peek into our program, and hear what several analyst interns had to share about their summer in Boston.

A Senior Associate internship at CRA

An engineer by education, consulting naturally appealed to me – breaking down problems and coming up with actionable/practical solutions. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in engineering back home in India, I worked with a top life sciences consulting firm for five years. My experiences there were focused on helping pharma companies in the commercial operations and analytics space. I wanted to expand my horizons and work on more strategic projects, which is why I decided to go back to business school and get an MBA to enhance my skillsets in strategy, pricing, and finance.
