Settlement reached by GlaxoSmithKline and South African competition authorities

We assisted GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and submitted evidence to the South African Competition Authorities during an investigation into the pricing of anti-retroviral drugs in South Africa. The South African authorities were concerned that prices were excessive. The case is closed after the authorities and GSK reached an agreement under the terms summarised in the press release below.
