UK Competition Commission report into veterinary medicines is published

We provided economic advice to Pfizer Ltd during the UK Competition Commission's 15-month investigation into prescription-only veterinary medicines. The inquiry examined the entire supply chain for veterinary medicines in the UK, from manufacturers to veterinary surgeons. During its inquiry, the Commission investigated a number of potential manufacturer issues, including the impact of multi-product rebate schemes on competition. Only two of the nine remedies recommended in the final report related to manufacturers.
