GWR Group Plc merger with Capital Radio Plc

We assisted GWR Group Plc throughout the investigation by the Office of Fair Trading of its merger with Capital Radio Plc. The OFT decided on 22 December 2004 not to refer the merger to the Competition Commission provided that satisfactory undertakings are given to address competition concerns identified in relation to the supply of local radio advertising in the East Midlands.
