UK Competition Commission publishes final report on classified directory advertising services

The CC has published its final report on the supply of classified directory advertising services. The CC has concluded that the price control on Yell's Yellow Pages directories in the UK should be amended from the current level of RPI-6% to RPI-0% after 31 March 2008. The CC has recommended that the OFT should review the remedies package after a period of three years. Robert Stillman and Rameet Sangha provided economic advice to Yell throughout the CC's investigation which began in April 2005.
