The Commission clears in Phase I two acquisitions in the sector of aluminium castings for the automotive industry

The European Commission has unconditionally cleared two acquisitions by Nemak in the sector of aluminium castings for the auto industry (in particular, cylinder heads and engine blocks). In two separate transactions, Nemak acquired Hydro's aluminium casting business and a carve out of Teksid's production facilities. A team from CRA London and Brussels (Bob Stillman, Penelope Papandropoulos and Elina Koustoumpardi) advised Nemak throughout both EU investigations.
