Essay Competition - Winner Announcement

We are pleased to announce the winner and runners up of the 2008/09 CRA Economics Essay Competition.

This competition was open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students specialising in Economics or Mathematics and was advertised at various careers fairs and events during the autumn term.

We were pleased to receive a high standard of entries from a wide range of universities and from both postgraduate and undergraduate students.

• First prize goes to S. Gerhard Dijkstra, a postgraduate student at Oriel College, Oxford
• First runner-up prize goes to Arun Advani, a third year undergraduate student at King's College, Cambridge
• Second runner-up prize goes to David Watson, a second year undergraduate student at St Peter's College, Oxford

Congratulations to all three on their success.
