Thomas Buettner is a Principal at CRA International. He has been working for CRA (formerly Lexecon Ltd) since 2001 and has extensive experience in a range of different antitrust issues, including mergers, abuse of dominance cases, and cartel matters before the European Commission and national competition authorities. He has also worked on private litigation matters. Previous clients include (among others) Deutsche Telekom, E.On (Powergen), General Electric, Getty Images, Ineos and BP, Napier Brown Foods, Nokia and Unilever.
Dr Buettner is an expert in competition economics, industrial organization more generally, and applied econometrics. He is a German national and speaks German, English, and French.
