Ms. Dantcheva, Principal, has more than eight years of consulting experience in a wide range of microeconomic issues. She has worked on a variety of competition cases both before the EU and national competition authorities in Europe and South Africa, covering a number of different industries such as pharmaceuticals, banking, IT, telecommunications, logistics, chemicals, and tobacco. Her more recent project work has included economic advice to interveners in the EC abuse of dominance investigation of Microsoft; calculation of damages due to anticompetitive behavior in the chemical shipping sector; regulatory advice on access pricing in the broadcasting market; as well as estimation of competitive effects in supermarket, pharmaceutical, and telecommunications mergers. In addition to being a native Bulgarian speaker, she is fluent in English and Polish, and has working knowledge of French and Russian.
