Pr. Laurent Flochel, Principal, joined CRA in 2007. He was previously professor of economics at the University of Lyon. He has also been for 3 years scientific advisor at the Council of Economic Analysis of the French Prime minister. His areas of research include industrial organization, competition policy and network industries. He has published several papers in a variety of academic journals. He has also a consulting background both in merger control and antitrust. He has provided economic expertise during merger procedures before the French competition authorities (phases 1 and 2), during cases involving allegations of predatory pricing, vertical and horizontal restraints or agreement. He has also advised clients in compliance programs and in international arbitration.
