Matt Tavantzis is an Associate Principal in CRA's London office, within the European Competition Practice. Since joining CRA, he has provided advice and economic analysis on competition issues in a number of cases before the European Commission and national authorities, in merger investigations in particular. His experience covers a variety of industries including mining, postal services, airline, consumer products, grocery retail markets and financial services.
Prior to joining CRA, he was an economist at the Office of Fair Trading, the UK's competition authority. In this role, he worked on merger cases - both UK and European - in a range of industries including telecommunications and broadcasting, food manufacturing, music and financial services. He has also provided economic analysis for the competition assessment of goods markets.
