Swiss Arbitration Academy Seminar
Geoffrey Senogles has been asked back to speak at the Swiss Arbitration Academy. He will lead a seminar covering the use of experts by the United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC).
Between 2000 and 2003, Geoff worked on staff at the UNCC as a valuation officer, dealing with claims arising from the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait on 2 August 1990. Geoff worked on claims designated “large and complex” in the oil and gas sector, tourism, industrial, and also the single largest value claim asserted, in respect of portfolio losses incurred by the Kuwait Government’s sovereign wealth fund.
After leaving the Commission, Geoff was retained as an independent valuation consultant by several Panels of Commissioners to give evidence on claims involving various business sectors in Middle Eastern countries.
