Arnold J. Lowenstein

Vice President

Arnie Lowenstein is a vice president in CRA’s Energy Practice and has been a management consultant for over 30 years.

He has extensive experience in corporate strategy and restructuring and in assisting clients to develop targeted growth programs designed to outperform in changing markets. Arnie works with clients in corporate portfolio repositioning and risk assessments and advises on mergers and acquisitions regarding business fit, value, and post-merger strategies. He has worked with clients on business improvement programs, redesigning business models, growth planning, and market repositioning in the face of shifting market and environmental trends.

His experience spans most major segments of the global chemical industry. He has also worked in many end-use industrial sectors including automotive, aerospace, packaging, and industrial equipment. He has been actively working on examining the implications of the energy transition on company positioning and strategies. He has assisted energy utilities in the development of strategies for the electric segment, including resource mix priorities, key customer solution offerings, grid and transmission strategies, and overall capital investment planning. He has also led assignments to develop overall decarbonization strategies.

Mr. Lowenstein is a native of Canada and holds an MA in Industrial Economics from the University of British Columbia.
