Deborah Saunders

Associate Principal

Deborah Saunders is an associate principal in the Labor & Employment Practice of CRA who specializes in data analysis, econometrics, and statistics.

Ms. Saunders designs, manages, and implements quantitative analyses to help clients mitigate risk in annual pay studies; conducts Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) audits of federal contractors; and assists clients in litigation involving Title VII and Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) claims. She works closely with clients to identify relevant employees and develop analyses to estimate potential damages in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state wage and hour litigation, presents the results to clients, and manages client expectations and relationships.

Ms. Saunders develops models to analyze base salary, total compensation, and stock grants for large and small companies to respond to OFCCP audits and for internal pay analyses. She works with large databases and is proficient in combining multiple databases for use in different types of analyses. Ms. Saunders also produces damage estimates under different scenarios and creates Excel tools that allow clients to estimate damages and produce counts of unique employees and other relevant metrics under different scenarios for wage and hour litigation. The Excel tools and various estimates allow her clients to easily estimate the effect of different assumptions and make informed decisions in settlement negotiations and proposals.
