John Graham

Principal

John Graham has more than 17 years of experience advising originators and sellers of residential whole loans as well as issuers and underwriters of mortgage-backed securities.

He has held senior positions at domestic and foreign investment banks and is an expert in the whole loan acquisition, servicing, and securitization business and related processes across all asset types. Mr. Graham’s experience provides a unique perspective to mortgage lenders and servicers, securities issuers, and underwriters facing legal and regulatory challenges.

Mr. Graham had a consulting business which focused on residential mortgage securitization litigation and regulatory defense support, securities contractual analysis, and due diligence, as well as mortgage loan servicing operations analysis and optimization.

From 2002 through 2007, Mr. Graham had residential mortgage conduit management responsibilities initially at Credit Suisse First Boston and ultimately at Nomura Credit & Capital relating to whole loan acquisitions, sales, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac deliveries, securitizations and related servicing rights sales and transfers, as well as repurchase demands for breaches of reps and warrants.

He also managed proprietary and client-issued residential mortgage securitizations for Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Greenwich Capital Markets and their mortgage lending and REIT clients.

Mr. Graham began his career at Fannie Mae in their mortgage acquisition division and also assisted in the securitization of residential whole loan portfolios at the Resolution Trust Corporation obtained through financial institution receivership or conservatorship.
