John Hayes has provided expert consulting services on economic issues arising in antitrust, innovation and competitive strategy for more than 20 years.

He has provided expert testimony and advice to the US House of Representatives, the US Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, and various state agencies on mergers, intellectual property rights, price-fixing and potentially exclusionary conduct. Dr. Hayes has particular expertise in semiconductors, software, telecommunications, and petroleum markets. Dr. Hayes previously served as an economist with the US Department of Justice.
