Kotryna Drasutyte is an associate principle in the European Competition Practice of Charles River Associates. Kotryna has advised clients on multiple merger, cartel cases and market inquiries before the European Commission and national competition authorities. Kotryna has significant experience employing empirical techniques for analysis of large datasets, and translating quantitative and qualitative data into well-articulated economic arguments. She has worked on cases in a wide range of industries, with significant experience in the financial services and energy sectors.
Prior to joining CRA, Kotryna spent two years as an economist at the UK’s Competition Markets Authority (CMA) and its predecessor, the Competition Commission. At the CMA Kotryna was an advisor in the authority’s Econometrics team within the Office of the Chief Economic Advisor, where she provided economic advice to decision makers on a number of merger inquiries and market investigations, including on investigations into the UK’s Energy and Private Healthcare markets.
