Michael F. Gorman
Michael F. Gorman is a leading expert in freight transportation pricing, asset management, logistics, and measures to improve transportation market efficiency. For more than a decade, Dr. Gorman has worked with railroads, intermodal marketing companies, trucking companies, and shippers on research, consulting, and performance improvement projects. His work has addressed problems in pricing optimization, rolling stock allocation, and distribution optimization, as well as transportation demand estimation and transportation-related logistics optimization. In addition to his role as senior consultant at Charles River Associates, Dr. Gorman is the president and founder of MFG Consulting, Inc., and an assistant professor of operations management and decision sciences at the University of Dayton.
