Paul Dobson
Paul Dobson, Senior Consultant, is Professor of Business Strategy and Public Policy and Head of Norwich Business School. He joined the University of East Anglia in July 2010 having previously held the Chair of Retail Strategy and Industrial Organization at Loughborough University Business School.
He has published widely in the area of competition economics and competition policy, notably in the areas of mergers, vertical restraints, and retailer buyer power. Dr. Dobson has produced commissioned reports for a number of competition authorities, regulatory bodies, and international organizations. He has also worked as an economics expert on numerous merger cases, monopoly investigations, restrictive practices cases, and industry reviews across a wide range of sectors, including telecommunications, financial services, consumer goods, retailing, wholesaling, books, newspapers, brewing, sports, and property selling.
