Ms. Sabera Choudhury is a principal in Charles River Associates’ Transfer Pricing Practice and a member of its leadership team. She has over two decades of experience, including leading Transfer Pricing engagements, forensic investigations (SEC investigations and FCPA investigations), intellectual property and licensing management reviews, and litigation consulting projects.
Ms. Choudhury transfer pricing experience includes providing planning, documentation, advance pricing agreements, and litigation consulting services. Her transfer pricing engagements have included the determination of or assessment of intercompany pricing, advising clients on structuring APAs, and the valuation of intangibles including the allocation of IP sales proceeds. She has provided transfer pricing services to multinationals, litigation counsel, and tax authorities in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Additionally, as a securities litigation specialist, Ms. Choudhury led complex and high profile engagements including SEC and/or Department of Justice (DOJ) investigations in the US, UK and across Europe. In the area of contract compliance, she has conducted reviews, primarily in Asia, for major licensors and advised companies on intellectual property issues. Ms. Choudhury has also provided litigation consulting services and determined damages for litigation and bankruptcy proceedings for clients and their counsel facing disputes involving M&A transactions, fraudulent conveyance issues, and financial misrepresentations.
She has worked for global companies in industries such as retail, luxury apparel, manufacturing, health care, high-tech, telecommunications, and energy.
Prior to joining CRA, she was a principal with LECG in Chicago and a director with PricewaterhouseCooper’s Forensic Services in Chicago and London.
