Sandra Chan is a principal in the Competition Practice of Charles River Associates. She has extensive experience in the economics of antitrust liability, damages, and mergers. Ms. Chan specializes in health care (e.g., competition between hospitals, physician groups, health insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies), but also has experience in a broad range of other industries, including retail, manufacturing, and technology. Ms. Chan typically acts as a project manager on the behalf of economic expert witnesses in antitrust matters alleging monopolization, price fixing, and price fraud. In addition, she has designed and managed economic analyses of the competitive effects of mergers, including hospitals, manufacturing companies, and retail companies. She has extensive experience analyzing large, complex data and has performed econometric analyses in a number of these antitrust matters. Ms. Chan also has designed damage models for alleged price fixing, attempt to monopolize, and price fraud cases.
