Steven Waters

Principal

Dr. Steven Waters has over 20 years of consulting experience in litigation and non-litigation matters. Dr. Waters earned his PhD in economics from the University of California, San Diego.

He worked as an environmental economist for several years in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina where he developed statistical models of damages used in litigation involving environmental contamination. Prior to joining CRA, he was a senior managing economist in the Salt Lake City office of LECG where he worked on antitrust, intellectual property, breach of contract, wage discrimination, and employment matters in addition to continuing work in the environmental area. He has made presentations to the Department of Justice and has given expert trial and/or deposition testimony in federal and state district courts. Dr. Waters is an adjunct professor of economics at Brigham Young University where he teaches microeconomic theory.
