Susan Parsons

Senior Consultant to CRA

Susan Parsons is a highly skilled negotiator and strategist with more than 30 years experience in the upstream petroleum industry.

She has assisted clients worldwide in planning, evaluating, and implementing exploration and production (E&P) projects. Her commercial experience includes planning and formulating strategy, managing high-level client relationships, negotiating at all levels, and managing large and complex projects.

Prior to joining CRA, Ms. Parsons was a principal in the London office of Arthur D. Little’s Global Energy practice. Throughout her career, she has helped governments and national oil companies define their strategies and expand their domestic petroleum activities, often serving as a country’s representative in negotiating with oil companies. She has supported the development of complex gas projects, including her work with two Middle Eastern countries seeking to import gas and with Mozambique in the promotion of its project to export gas to South Africa.

Previously, Ms. Parsons worked as the Manager of International Negotiations and Contracts at Sun International and worked with Gulf Oil Company in London and Houston.
