Dr. Robin Cohen has more than 25 years of experience consulting on economic regulation in the energy industry in the UK and abroad. In the UK, he has advised electricity, gas, and water companies through the privatization process and the design of the new market and regulatory issues. Most recently, Dr. Cohen advised a major utility and the UK government on its Electricity Market Reform program and acted as expert on a number of power and gas sector disputes and has advised regulators on price setting, evaluating operating efficiencies, and the opening up of markets to competition.

Robert E. Curry, Jr. provides energy consulting and legal advice to private clients. He has served as a commissioner of the New York State Public Service Commission, which has jurisdiction over investor-owned utilities and their more than $30 billion in annual charges, for six years. As a member of the US Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory Committee since 2010, Mr. Curry advises on strategies for the modernization of the nation’s electricity infrastructure. He is vice-chair of the department’s Race to the Top Subcommittee, a program that encourages states to prioritize energy efficiency and distributed generation.
