B.A. (Honors) Economics and Sociology, Northwestern University Experience Scott Bloomberg, Principal, has a primary focus on addressing the risks faced by the electric utility sector. Much of this work is centered on uncertainties surrounding environmental policy, particularly climate change policy. Mr. Bloomberg’s areas of specialization include assessing the impacts of environmental policy at the national and regional levels and corporate strategic decision making in response to uncertainty. He has contributed to the environmental policy debate through analyses conducted for a range of clients on issues including Federal climate change policy, mercury emissions regulation, allowance markets for SO2 and NOX, renewable energy credit (REC) markets, and state and regional environmental proposals. In addition, he has done extensive work on the financial impacts of regional transmission organizations (RTOs), economic dynamics of natural gas markets. Prior to joining CRA, Mr. Bloomberg worked at Deloitte Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
