Education Ph.D. Economics, University of Pennsylvania Experience Steven Sklivas, Principal, specializes in industrial organization and microeconomic theory. In his research, he has applied game theory to understand firm and industry behavior in market settings. As a consultant, Dr. Sklivas has conducted numerous antitrust studies, damage estimates for patent infringement, and breach-of-contract analyses. This work has covered a range of industries, including defense and aerospace, airlines, oil and gas production, computers, and environment. Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Sklivas was an economist at Capital Economics, where he served as in-house consultant to Howrey & Simon attorneys on merger, antitrust, intellectual property, and commercial litigation, and participated in all stages of litigation. He also directed economic studies for other law firms and has provided expert testimony.
