We analyzed pricing, demand, competitive effects, and efficiencies. The investigation was closed, and the joint venture proceeded.

A global pharmaceutical company abandoned a product launch following unfavorable clinical trial results. When their stock price fell, they were sued for allegedly concealing product information. The court accepted CRA’s analysis and conclusion that the alleged information concealment was an unlikely reason for the price change.

Charles River Associates recently assisted a company that was losing $35 million annually. Our advice positioned them to earn $35 million annually—at which time their parent company chose to divest them, realizing a transaction price of $400 million.
