Cristina Caffarra is moderating a panel on “Designing antitrust to promote economic liberty.” They will discuss the potential expansion of antitrust to address concerns around economic liberty, such as the protection of smaller business or the so called “labor antitrust”: what should be the main goals of such policy, under what standards should intervention take place, and what are the risks in that expansion—in particular, how can societies develop a policy that is not arbitrary nor captured by politically powerful agents?
