Ethan Trana

Ethan Trana is an associate principal at CRA with an academic background in physical chemistry and molecular biology. He has spent the better part of a decade as a thought partner for a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations leading a diversity of strategy, commercial, and market research engagements. Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Trana worked as a medical writer and was a managing consultant at bioStrategies Group.

Dr. Trana has managed projects spanning topics including market strategy, brand/launch planning, business development/due diligence, competitive intelligence, commercial evaluations, revenue forecasting, portfolio assessment and prioritization, product life cycle management, and myriad other related project types. He has extensive experience in broad therapeutic categories including oncology/immuno-oncology, rare diseases, neurology, immunology, pharmacology, opioid/substance abuse, and cell and gene therapy.
