Jonathan Reignley

Associate Principal

Jonathan Reignley is an associate principal in the Energy Practice of CRA, specializing in power market sector modeling and strategy development within the utility sector. Mr. Reignley has over seven years of consulting experience in the energy industry, providing clients with economic analysis, litigation support, and regulatory support.

Mr. Reignley is experienced with utility planning tools and has performed assessments throughout North America in support of utility integrated resource planning (IRP) efforts. Mr. Reignley manages input assumptions, model setup, and execution of AuroraXMP dispatch software to capture North American power market fundamentals and produce long-term assessments of power plants and generation portfolios. Mr. Reignley helps clients assess power sector risk by identifying and testing the impacts of key economic, fuel, and environmental policy uncertainties through both scenario and stochastic modeling. Mr. Reignley also has experience evaluating RFP bids in support of new resource procurement and regulatory filings. Prior to joining CRA, Mr. Reignley was a Summer Associate at CenterPoint Energy and an engineer at a biodiesel refinery and a power plant.
