Ken Beers is a vice president in CRA’s Life Sciences Practice, based in the Boston office.
Ken serves biopharmaceutical and other life sciences clients across a range of needs centered on the development and commercialization of novel therapies. His experience spans therapeutic areas and modalities and integrates technologies such as diagnostics, software-as-a-medical-device, and bioinformatics. Projects range from portfolio and business unit strategies for Pharma to the commercialization of first products for emerging biotechs, and support business development and licensing from both the buy- and sell-sides.
In addition to biopharmaceutical and medical device clients, Ken serves pharmacy, distribution, services companies, and financial investors active in life sciences. He has developed methods and resources to support strategic engagements, including software for forecasting, valuation, and deal design of pharmaceutical assets. Ken has consulted to life sciences clients for over 15 years across management consulting and boutique firms, after starting his career in academia on the faculty of MIT.
