Mr. Maal specializes in corporate and business unit strategy, M&A, growth and commercial excellence, and his background includes deep experience working with senior executives in the consumer goods (e.g., food and beverage, beer and spirits, personal care, home care, apparel), retail (e.g., convenience, food service, luxury), and leisure (e.g., hotels, cruise lines) sectors. Miguel has delivered work in over 20 countries.
Prior to joining Marakon, Mr. Maal was a partner with QVARTZ LLC (acquired by Bain Consulting in 2020) where he led strategic consulting projects in the consumer and retail sectors throughout the United States and Europe. Before that, he was a partner with OC&C Strategy Consultants.
