Tender pricing strategy
Situation: With tenders becoming an increasing part of the client’s business in many areas of the world, CRA's Life Sciences Practice was retained to develop a universal philosophy, as well as processes and tools, to evaluate and respond to tender opportunities.
- Analyzed business process and recommended redesign
- Designed a financial tool to guide analysis and encourage focus on strategic opportunities
- Conducted training using competitive simulation to embed a game-theoretic approach to tendering strategy and new processes into the client organization
Result: Completed design of new tender pricing process, including revised roles and responsibilities. Prepared implementation plan, developed materials for pilot rollout, and conducted training sessions, including simulation exercises.
