CRA experts were retained by a business unit of a leading regional power producer to perform an IP management best practices assessment, make recommendations for improvement, and develop a roadmap to roll out the improved process to other business units across the region. CRA identified and rated 48 relevant best practices related to education, creation, protection, valuation, utilization and licensing of IP for the client’s operations. Specific recommendations were made for implementing improvements in the IP management program, and a bespoke roadmap for extending the IP management program was developed.
