The 2017 ILG National Conference
The laws governing pay discrimination are in a state of flux. The marketplace is increasingly focused on reducing the gender pay gap. Familiar statistical methods of assessing pay within an organization remain useful, but must be adapted to legal and market changes. The objectives of this program, presented by Quenton Wright and Kenneth Gage and Tammy Daub of Paul Hastings, are to: (1) define the current legal constructs governing pay discrimination; (2) outline a privileged approach to defining litigation risks and other pay gaps; and (3) provide a process for developing an effective mitigation strategy.
