Why PhD Candidates Choose CRA
Who are our clients?
CRA economists advised counsel to Novartis throughout reviews of its three-part, $23 billion merger with GlaxoSmithKline. With the divestment of certain oncology drugs, the European Commission and Federal Trade Commission determined the deal would not hinder innovation and the development of new oncology drugs. CRA also advised Novartis on the sale of its animal health business to Eli Lilly.
CRA economists advised counsel to Office Depot throughout a review by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of its proposed $1.2 billion merger with OfficeMax. The FTC ultimately closed its Second Request investigation, noting that the merger is unlikely to lessen competition in the sale of consumable office supplies.
When Ocean Spray wanted to create a more transparent marketplace for their customers, CRA developed a Web-based trading platform and supporting information site to reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of transactions. The platform streamlines trading and reinforces Ocean Spray’s status as a leader in its industry.
