CRA Responsible Use of AI in Recruiting

Expertise, rigor, quality, testability, and defensibility are foundational hallmarks of CRA’s brand. Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can amplify the value we deliver to clients, but their limits must be recognized and output always validated and critiqued. The power – and limits – of these tools, and the high-stakes nature of our work on which our reputation depends, require everyone at CRA to be disciplined and thoughtful in using AI.

Artificial Intelligence use in our hiring process

Our commitment – We believe that recruiting is fundamentally a human process, and we are committed to a hiring process that is fair, transparent, and people-focused. While AI and other technology-enabled tools help our team operate more efficiently, we strive to provide every candidate with a personalized, thoughtful, and high-touch experience. AI is used to support meaningful interactions, not to replace them. All hiring decisions are made by qualified members of our recruiting and hiring teams.

Candidate use of Artificial Intelligence in our hiring process

Our expectation – CRA invests significant human effort to find qualified members for our teams, and we expect candidates to invest corresponding human effort to learn about CRA, prepare thoughtful application materials, and engage with our interviewers. We understand that some candidates may find AI and other technology-enabled tools to be helpful during certain stages of the application process. If you choose to use AI in connection with your application, it should only be used to assist you and not to replace your voice, exaggerate or misrepresent your accomplishments, or complete your analysis.
