Assisted in defense of former board member involved in “reverse merger” SPAC transaction

CRA’s Forensic Services expert Kristofer Swanson was retained to provide expert testimony on behalf of a former board member of a China-based public company (which had entered the US stock market in a “reverse merger” SPAC transaction, but later filed for bankruptcy). Mr. Swanson issued an expert report which analyzed and responded to breach of fiduciary duty claims brought against the board member. The matter settled days before trial on very favorable terms.
