CRA was engaged to assist a client engaged in a theft of trade secrets lawsuit with a competitor. As a result of the litigation, discovery requests were filed for all electronic communications maintained by our client. CRA deployed trained individuals to forensically collect and preserve the Exchange mail server and the phones of key personnel. Using advance filtering and analytics, the team quickly culled the 3.5 TB of collected data down to 100 GB before pre-processing. Using our electronic discovery experience and working closely with counsel, our experts reduced the data size to 10 gigabytes before loading into the Relativity® platform for counsel’s review. By leveraging our combined expertise in collection and eDiscovery, relevant data was ready for review within days of collection, giving counsel ample time to complete review and finish the project under tight budgets and timelines.
