A major computer hardware and software company suspected that several former employees who had joined a competing firm may have retained or misused proprietary information.
CRA Approach
CRA was engaged to investigate. Teams were deployed across four US states to collect and forensically image personal devices and accounts. More than 3 terabytes of data were collected and analyzed to identify proprietary information and any additional storage locations. The findings were documented, and remediation efforts were carried out.
Client Impact
The investigation was completed on an accelerated timeline, allowing the client to safeguard its intellectual property and proceed with key technology initiatives without delay.
