Situation: A small UAV manufacturer wanted to conduct a market assessment and platform comparison.
CRA contribution: CRA undertook an assessment of the US UAV market, comparing client offerings to various other platforms in the emerging UAV space. We analyzed UAV roadmaps QDR and FYDP, conducted DoD program office interviews, and embarked on a UAV platform performance metric comparison (direct and second derivate).
Result: Our review and trend analysis confirmed many of the clients business development initiatives and provided a level of confidence for new product development ventures.
