IP Literature Watch: March 2021

March 29, 2021
Books on shelves

In this issue of IP Literature Watch we include recent research and papers relating to IP litigation, licensing, innovation, policy, and copyright law. We feature two papers and a book that focus on artificial intelligence (AI). One paper discusses how the use of inventive AI systems raises novel issues which the existing patent framework may not be able to easily accomodate, such as who is liable for AI-induced infringement in cases where machines act “autonomously?”

We also provide a link to the Brief of International Property Law Professors as Amici Curiae in Support of Neither Party – Ericsson v. Samsung.
