IP Literature Watch: October 2020

October 27, 2020
publication paper

In this issue of IP Literature Watch we include papers on IP and antitrust, licensing, innovation, law and policy, copyright, IP and trade, as well as a discussion of what it means to “own” an intellectual property right.

Among the papers featured this month is a discussion of evidence that COVID-19 has shifted the direction of innovation toward technologies that support working from home. Another author writes that the secrecy surrounding algorithms was driven by the Supreme Court’s overhaul of IP law which pushes developers away from the required disclosure of patent law and toward the obscurity of trade law.
