In the context of the designation of a Chinese mobile equipment company as a military company by the US Department of Defense, we assisted counsel by opining on the harm caused to that company’s value, ability to raise capital, innovation, and strategic options. The successful enjoining of that designation restored US$ 10 billion in value to the company.
