An investment fund examining an infrastructure opportunity in East Africa retained CRA’s team to help identify and mitigate critical risks. The team conducted a substantial intelligence gathering exercise, and provided a combination of due diligence into partners, geopolitical risk analysis, and an impact assessment of scenarios such as other partners withdrawing from the project, political regime change. The findings played a key role in the fund’s decision making.
