CRA economists Steven Tenn and Josh Lustig supported the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in its review of the proposed merger of two Chicago-area hospital systems, Advocate Health Care Network (Advocate) and NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore). The CRA team analyzed antitrust and competitive issues regarding the provision of general acute care inpatient hospital services in the North Shore area of Chicago.
