CRA was hired by a global software development company that had a malicious insider sending sensitive information about the CEO and alleged transgressions to company executives, its board of directors, and employees. This individual also leaked confidential internal communications between the board members to all employees. CRA forensically preserved and analyzed hard drives, network data, and phones in addition to conducting interviews with suspected individuals. Our professionals also examined network data and suspect computers and phones to correlate findings and to identify the perpetrator. CRA identified the suspect and the means by which the sensitive documents were stolen, thus ending the ongoing threat and further business interruption.
