Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics & Privacy

CRA’s Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics & Privacy experts work on matters where data practices are under scrutiny. We are typically engaged by law firms, corporations, and insurers to assess what happened, evaluate the impact, and develop evidence that can withstand regulatory or judicial review.

Our work spans incident response, post-breach analysis, and disputes involving the collection, use, or protection of data. This includes evaluating cybersecurity failures, assessing the economic impact of data breaches, supporting class actions and cybersecurity insurance claims, and analyzing issues such as biometric data use or software licensing compliance.

Rather than focusing solely on controls or policies, CRA examines how systems, data, and decisions led to specific outcomes, and quantifies the consequences.

The Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics & Privacy team works alongside other CRA practices to connect technical findings with financial and regulatory implications, and provide clear, defensible insights.
